On the Portuguese Discovery channel there is a series called "Pesca Radical" 
which I believe is distributed in the US under the name "The Most Dangerous 
Catch". It deals with the Bering Sea crab fishery and contains dramatic 
examples of what some fishermen go through.

The CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) has broadcast numerous 
documentaries dealing with fisheries and many of them have good fishing 
sequences.
