Last night Les Stroud was doing his survivalist thing in Africa. He caught a
land crab for food and so I wondered how many tasty, edible critters have
been genetically modified to crawl out of sea water into fresh water and
then land.
Are there genes in the crab known to facilitate this? Could they be used for
other marine species?
Could it save the Cultus Lake Sockeye? A little joke eh?
