Hi Gene,

Esteban Graupera is a memebr of ICATT and represents European sportfishermen and conservation interests, mainly in the mediterranean but also Madeira and Azores ([log in to unmask]). He might be a nice counterpoint to the offical fisheries Institute. Somebody at the Spanish Institute of Oceanography likely has the data, but getting them to share it or publisize it is complicated..

Cheers
Gorka

Colleagues:

I'm looking for suggestions of an active scientist or two with expertise in overfishing concerns off the West Coast of Africa in the Eastern Atlantic, from the Equator northward (roughly Gulf of Guinea through the Azores). An e-mail address for such an individual would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
