Dear Friends,
(1) Call for the local co-organizer to host the "5th International Symposium on GIS/Spatial Analyses in Fishery and Aquatic Sciences (Aug. 22-26, 2011)"
To now we have received 3 "successful" applicants and are now waiting for 1 more applicant who will revise their application in order to fulfill conditions and will send back to us by the early next week.
In addition we are also waiting for 2 more applicants that requested us to extend the deadline for several more days for them to get clearances from their authorities.
To keep equal opportunity, we decided to postpone the FINAL deadline to March 19 (Fri), 2010 from March 15. After this date we will not accept any applications. For details on applications please see http://www.esl.co.jp/Sympo/5th/index.htm

(2) For the contributors for the Proceedings of the 4th Symposium (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2008) (GIS/Spatial Analyses in Fishery and Aquatic Sciences. Vol 4)
We are now at the final stage of the publication. We will send the proof in April (next month) and will publish in May. We again apologize for the delay of the publication.
