Dear Colleagues,
The Changjiang institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research(CISPDR),
Water Resources Commission (CWRC) is planning a fish passage facilities
visit in Germany and Brazil from May 12 to 25, 2010. The purpose is to learn
some advanced experiences and considerations in fishpass design and
construction, which will serve the Xiaonanhai Hydroproject which is located
at the upper reach of the Yangtze River. It will be the first large fishpass
along the Yangtze River. Based on the primary design of the project,
nature-like fishpass and movable platform of fish gathering and transferring
are preferred. And, because of the river being quite broad, such scale
projects are preferred as well. The focus will be improving the effects and
efficiency of the fishpass, which including the design of attractive flow,
suitable entrance, inner structure and exit of the fish pass, and so on.
I wonder some of the listed member could give me some advices about the plan
and some local communicaiton methods of related researchers(including Brazil
colleagues), so I could make the visit available and successful? Thanks in
advance!
Best Wishes,
QIAO Ye
