Dear Prof. Stefan Schmutz and Prof. Carolina V. Minte-Vera,
Thanks a lot for your advices! In 2008 we have been in Finland for some nature-like fishpass visit. Mr. Jormola Jukka and Dr. Laine Anne and their colleagues showed us some wonderful nature-like fishpasses and gave us lots of suggestions(Here I want to express my sincere appreciation to them). Unfortunately, most of the nature-like fishpasses we have seen are quite small except the fishpass in Oulu. As the Yangtze River is the third biggest river in the world, we want to have more experience on large rivers. The nature-like fishpasses along the Danube River should be a good choice. I will tell the team leader to consider the suggestion from Prof. Stefan Schmutz. I will also follow the instruction of Prof. Carolina V. Minte-Vera to contact Dr. Angelo A. Agostinho. Thanks again!

Best Wishes

QIAO Ye

Dear QIAO Ye

As you are interested in nature-like fish passes I could help you with
some information for your visit in Europe. We have been designing,
constructing and evaluating nature-like fish passes in Austria for mor
than 20 years and could show you some sites at the Danube and its
tributaries.

Best wishes

Stefan Schmutz
