I'm not familiar with any work that looks at ghost gear specifically on
artificially reefs or artificial reefs that are designed with the goal in
mind to avoid such gears.  I also checked with the MA Division of Marine
Fisheries Artificial Reef Project person and got the same answer.  Good luck.
