Hi, everyone!

As many of you know, I have been named a finalist in the 2011 blogging
scholarship, which provides $10,000 in research and education expenses to
the winner.

Thanks for all your support so far! Sorry to keep pestering you about the
scholarship, but there have been some important changes.

I just received an e-mail from the organizers. Due to some...
irregularities in the voting, they've had to reset all votes at zero!
However, people can now vote once per day from now until November 30th!

Additionally, I announced on Southern Fried Science that if I win, I will
use some of the money to support our lab's ongoing shark conservation
research, including adopting a satellite tagged shark in the name of the
blog's readers and holding a contest to name it. Voting for me is now also
a vote for shark conservation research.

There is a new voting page now. It can be found at:
http://www.collegescholarships.org/blog/2011/11/18/2011-blogging-scholarship/

Please vote for me again, please continue to tell your friends, colleagues,
and fellow shark lovers about it! Again, you can now vote every day!

Thanks again, and sorry to keep pestering you. I appreciate the support!
