Here's some video of some pupfish and moapa dace/springfish video using a
GoPro Hero HD (not the HD II) and EyeofMine Underwater port (before GoPro
came out with theirs). Main difference between the HD and HDII is in low
light use and better still camera mode and ability to have wireless viewing
and control (but not underwater).

I know that some folks have been using GoPro cameras for underwater
observations in streams but they seem to come out with new models every
year.  Looks like some might no longer need housings.  Anyone have any
suggestions for the "best" current model(s) for work in fast flowing trout
streams? Jason, Seth, you out there?  I also noticed that some other pocket
cams have a water proof model like the Kodak Playsport that is waterproof to
10 ft - wonder how it would work in a stream though? TIA, g2
