REPLIES WILL BE SENT TO THE FISH-SCI LIST

Hi Christos,
Your best source to begin with would be:
Scott, W.B. and E.J. Crossman. 1973. Freshwater Fishes of Canada. Fisheries Research Board of Canada, Ottawa. Bulletin 184. 966 pp.
From there, you would get all sorts of primary references.
For early life history, start with:
Auer, N.A. 1982. Identification of Larval Fishes of the Great Lakes Basin with Emphasis on the Lake Michigan Drainage. Great Lakes Fishery Commission. Special Publication 82-3. Ann Arbor, Michigan. 744 pp.
From there you would get the references from primary literature for early life history.

Dear all,
I am building a database about Lepomis gibbosus diet from native and non-
native areas. Until now I have found enough information from non-native regions
but I am missing data from the native ones I have only one paper from Deakon
and Keast 1987. I would be very grateful if you can send me some information
that you have from grey literature, theses and other papers.
Best regards
