A colleague is seeking to equip his teaching lab with an otolith sectioning saw. I'm most familiar with the Isomet Low Speed saw, but I understand there are other manufacturers out there.
Any suggestions/reviews about saws, their performance and reliability, and cost (especially important for a teaching lab with limited budget) would be greatly appreciated. He's even interested in finding out if there's a marketplace for used saws.
Thanks.
