Dear Colleagues,
The deadline for registration and submission of abstracts for the Sixth International Symposium on GIS/Spatial Analyses in Fishery and Aquatic Sciences has been extended to June 30. The updated "Final announcement" is available at http://www.esl.co.jp/Sympo/6th/final_announcement.pdf (refresh your browser to see updated version). The announcement includes information about the symposium. Important topics are summarized as below:
(1) How to register? See page 8-10. The (normal) registration fee is US$300. After June 30, the LATE registration fee (US$500) will be charged.
We prefer that you send your registration information to fish$B!>([log in to unmask] as per the announcement instructions. However, in the event of email problems, you can send the information to our local co-organizer at the University of Florida, Bob Swett [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>, who will then forward it to Drs. Nishida and Itoh.
(2) How to submit an abstract? See Page 11. After the deadline (June 30), NO abstracts will be accepted.

(3) How to book a hotel room? see Page 12. Block room reservations for participants are available at the Tampa Marriott Westshore Hotel (Venue of the 6th Symposium). "JULY 23, 2014" is the deadline for reserving a hotel room at the special symposium rate of $93 per night (not including taxes).
Please also read "Important notices to contributors (Page 14-15)" and "important notices to presenters (Page 15-16)." For poster presenters, the size of the poster is A0 (width 841 mm x height 1,189mm <= sorry $B!H(B189mm$B!I(B in the text is incorrect).
