Parallel research that you may want to follow up is that
carried out by the National Marine Fisheries Service (and
others) in the Gulf of Mexico on the effects of explosive
removal of redundant oil and gas platforms.
These studies have attempted to quantify the mortality
caused by blast on fish populations associated with the
removal of artificial structures.
