=============================================================================== NEWS FROM ISESS 1997 Second International IFIP Symposium on Environmental Software Systems Special Call for Papers on Agriculture, Forestry, Ecology and Information =============================================================================== For the Second International IFIP Symposium on Environmental Software Systems we especially encourage the submission of papers related to the following topics: Agriculture and Information Forestry and Information Ecology and Information Agriculture, forestry and information: within these sessions we would like to present and discuss software systems providing real improvements for the management, especially environmentally sound ones. Ecology and information: the objectives of these sessions are related to theoretical problems about the (self)organization and parametrization of complex adaptive systems, from an ecological point of view as well as from the informatics. For all three sessions we would like to have both views: users of software systems and their demands, and developer with a presentation of their strategies. !!! Note that the views above are some of our views. However, we invite any contribution related to one of these topics !!! For papers related to these topics, we intend to organize specialized sessions. The reviewing of papers related to these topics will take place in a specialized subgroup from the program committee, including colleagues specialized in agriculture, forestry and ecology.
