Balistes capriscus up to one kilogram arrived in the local Guernsey fish
markets last week (July 22). Guernsey fish mongers are quite familiar
with gray triggerfish. They can be caught close to shore. Last year,
when we experienced a very warm September, gray triggerfish were being
caught from the Guernsey shore until late October. The surface water
temperature around Guernsey is now 17.2 degrees C. Guernsey is about 49
degrees North and 3 degrees West.
