Biomark, Inc. (208) 378-4900 represents both AVID & Destron manufactured PIT
Tags and hand readers. In addition Biomark manufactures detectors and
detectors systems for electronic tags.
Biomark does provide training and tagging services. While the technique is
fairly simple, care must be taken especially when handling fish in the 45mm
- 65mm range.
Biomark has a web site located at www.biomark.com (URL window:
206.153.243.21). Please look to it for examples of recent projects and
products.

Also Northwest Marine Technology does not sell PIT Tags and equipment.
Theirs is an entirely different identification technology. PIT tags are
passive electronic tags that transmit a unique code when detected or passed
through a scanner. The NWT products require hands on identification for
exterior tags codes or dissection & examination under a microscope for the
magnetic coded wire tags.
