Dear Subscribers,
Following is a brief description of the UTS Postdoctoral Fellowships, with
applications due by 9 August. I am a fish ecologist with studies in local
(temperate) estuaries and coral reef sites, concerning recruitment and
effects of pollution on ecology of marine and estuarine fishes. Anyone
interested in applying for a fellowship in areas vaguely similar to the
above could contact me directly as soon as possible. Other info can be
obtained from my web page:
UTS POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS. The University invites applications from
suitably qualified men and women for three (3) UTS Postdoctoral Research
Fellows for fixed-term periods of three years. The successful applicants
will undertake a structured, high-quality research project within one of the
University's nine faculties, the three Institutes of the University, or two
Academic Centres. $5000 p.a. will also be made available as research
support for the successful applicants. Intending applicants should first
discuss their research proposal with UTS academic(s) within the relevant
discipline. Selection criteria and duty statement are available
from Ms Patricia Dwyer, Human Resources Unit (330 1086). Further
information can be obtained from the Research Office. Closing date is 9
August 1996.
