FACULTY POSITION Visiting Professor/Assistant Professor of Fisheries Biology West Virginia University
Academic Rank and Salary:
The position is Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor of Fisheries Biology in the Division of Forestry, College of Agriculture and FOrestry, West Virginia University. This nine-month position is renewable annually for a maximum of 3 years. The initial salary and academic rank shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities incluse 1) teaching undergraduate courses in fisheries management, fisheries biology, and limnology, and 2) advising undergraduate students. Opportunities are available to participate in research, graduate education, and public service programs in wildlife and fisheries.
Qualifications:
An earned doctorate with at least one degree in fisheries is preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate with students and colleagues is essential.
