I have tried many ways to obtain the details for the following reference but without success. I hope that possibly someone on this list may know a little more.
I have a reference to Vandike and Crunkilton in which the deaths of 1000 Typhlichthys subterraneus (Amblyopsidae) from deoxygenation was reported. This was caused by the spillage of ammonium salts into the cave in which they lived (Meramec Spring, Missouri).
I have been unable to find details for this reference other than the authors names. I have written to RL Crunkilton but without a reply so far. The person who wrote the piece from which I got this originally has gone to India till January !!!
Does anyone have any idea where this was published ?
Thanks very much,,,,,,,,Graham Proudlove
