Fish-ecology group:

     I'm looking for a good reference or two that discuss the salinity regimes
and their importance to fish/invertebrates in coastal environments where barrier
islands may constrain flow to and from semi-enclosed sounds/bays.  I'm
looking for a more general treatment of the topic rather than any site-specific
treatment.  Any suggestions?
