Al, thanks for the announcement!!!!  I feel ignorant but I've never
heard of the water resources department.

Other news, Dr. Bain sent an Email letting me know that I've survived
the first cut and am one of 12 post MS applicants being considered for
the position(s).  I believe he was inundated with PhD candidates, and
may be considering using them for most positions...... time will tell.

I'm also applying for a district fish biologist in Vermont and I was
wondering if I could use you as a reference.  I would like to know what
kind of reference you feel you could offer.  If you feel that you don't
have enough information about me, or you don't feel comfortable offering
a reference for me, I'd understand.  These jobs are extremely important
to me and I would like to use the best references I can on the resume,
so please feel free to be honest with me if you feel I should look
elsewhere.
