Hello again,

Thanks for your comments about model building in fisheries science. I am in
the midst of building a smaller model on fish growth and need some help. I
know that many of you specialize in a certain fish type. I would like to
know if any of you could share some basic, most up to date info concerning
your fish of specialty. I am looking for info on growth rates, fecundity,
egg survival rates, predation, food habits, certain chemical or biological
factors that effect the species etc... I am not in a position to easily
access journal papers.
As of now I am using Fishes of Wisconsin as a guide to these basic growth
models but am looking for something more recent or detailed. It can be any
kind of fish.
Thanks in advance for any help that I am given and I will keep you up to
date on what I do with your data. Maybe when I have this mini-model up and
running, I can ask you about the realism of its results since you have seen
first hand the fish out in the wild?
