Hello,

I'm trying to find out as much about the life history and ecology of the
family Hemiramphidae, the halfbeaks, but so far have found very little in
the literature, in particular a lack of data on fecundity and depth. Also
the maximum length of the 2 species in the genus Melapedalion.

Anyone know of any particular references or have any data they're willing
to share? I already have most papers by Collette and co-workers.

Please reply direct to me at [log in to unmask] and I will compile any
data for the list.

Many thanks, Nick Goodwin
