Announcement: OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE ON FISHERIES RESEARCH
CRUISES ON GEORGES BANK
We have a few remaining slots for student volunteers to participate on a
fisheries research cruise during August/September to examining fish trophic
structure on Georges Bank. We are also looking for persons willing to serve
as standby voluteers for three other cruises. Standby voluteers must be
ready and willing to participate on the cruise on very short notice in the
event that a last minute berth becomes available.
Two slots are available for the following cruise:
NOAA ALBATROSS IV 97-10, Aug. 25 - Sept. 5, 1997.
We are looking for standby voluteers for the following cruises:
NOAA DELAWARE II 97-06, April 16-25, 1997.
NOAA DELAWARE II 97-07, April 28 - May 09, 1997.
NOAA ALBATROSS IV 97-08, July 07-18, 1997.
All cruises are staged out of Woods Hole, MA. (USA) Students must
provide their own transportation to and from Woods Hole. During
the cruise, we will provide meals, rain gear, boots, gloves, bed
linens, etc..
