I don't know about a goby discussion group, but Dr. Denise Breitburg
     at the Estuarine Research Center at St. Leonard, MD (part of the
     Phila. Acad. Sci.) has done some work with gobys and behavioral
     responses to hypoxia. I don't have a current phone number for her.
