In coastal Patagonia Argentina, an unknown number of species of
sharks are usually caught in bottom trawl nets, and are discarded
dead at sea. Seven species of sharks were caught in 264 of 454
trawls, made by Patagonian coastal fisheries (41: to 52: South)
that we analyzed between 1993 and 1996.
We are interested to exchange information, experience and ideas
on sharks and coastal fisheries.
