Hello all,
I'm looking for suggestions about sampling for alewife eggs. We're
looking at a system with several lakes, and are wondering where
alewives spawn in this system. We're hoping to use egg abundance
in the lakes to answer this question. We were thinking of using
plankton nets, but these would miss eggs which are demersal.
Any suggestions are welcome. Please respond directly to my email
address.
