Having received no answer about the following message, I send it once again
and for all.
We are testing models simulating fish population dynamics according to
demographic strategies (age-dependant fecundity, survival rates and
dispersion). We are using theoretical values approximating brown trout and
grayling strategies, short living species in the temperate zone.
However, we would be happy to get support from actual field data. We would
need (aged) size-class structures of salmonid species in several sections
(main channel and tributaries) from a same system, if possible in relation
with stream order, and, always if possible, before and after river network
partitionning by dam. An interesting data set might be a single species in
three sections (upstream and downstream from a dam, and in a tributary
upstream) providing six histograms: three before and three after
partitionning.
More complex data would be of interest.
Other riverine short living species, either salmonid or not, might be used
provided that their biology is well documented.
Such kind of data often stays in grey litterature, but already published
ones would be appreciated, of course.
