Arturo,

For a reasonably comprehensive list of regional guides and keys to fish
larvae (over 30), check out page 280 in the chapter on "Collection,
Preservation, and Identification of Fish Eggs and Larvae" updated and
revised by Kelso and Rutherford in the 1996 second edition of the American
Fisheries Society "Fisheries Techniques" manual edited by Murphy and Willis.
If this isn't enough (for literature prior to 1986), try Simon (1986--A
listing of regional guides, keys, and selected comparative descriptions of
freshwater and marine larval fishes; American Fisheries Society Early Life
History Section Newsletter 7(1):10-15). Simon includes smaller keys and
major comparative descriptives in his list of about 230 references.
