Following this text is a general list of series of fisheries periodicals
available at no cost from the Alaska Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research
Unit at the University of Alaska in Fairbanks. These publications are
available as entire runs, not single or selected issues, to the libraries
of needy fisheries organizations. They are not available to individuals for
their personal libraries. We are particularly interested in giving these
publications to fisheries programs of colleges, universities, agencies or
other organizations where their use would benefit students, but this is not
a requirement.
If you are interested in requesting any of these runs, or can recommend a
needy recipient, please do the following:
1. Contact J.B. Reynolds DIRECTLY at [log in to unmask] and, please,
do NOT use the Fish-Ecology network to request publications.
2. Specify which publication series are of interest; include any questions
you may have about any series or about our procedure.
3. Indicate the name, shipping address, telephone number and, if available,
the fax number or e-mail address of the contact person who would receive
the publications.
4. Include a short statement (1-2 paragraphs) about the organization
needing the publications and the nature of the intended use (users,
circulation, etc.).
Within 1-2 weeks (no later than June 20), we will contact the recipients,
confirm their willingness to accept the publications, and announce the
recipients over the Fish-Ecology network to inform all respondents of the
outcome.
