Dear Fish Folk:
        I have a quick question regarding temperature regimes and I think
that a query to this group may be the best way to get the answer.  I am
using Betta splendens as a subject in a physiology lab that I teach.  One
of the experiments deals with temperature effects.  Our Animal Care and Use
Committee wants to know the range of temperatures normally encountered by
these fish.  Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
