This year's Canadian Society of Environmental Biologists' Conference, has
a great line-up!

Session 1:
        Byte the Bullet [Computer Applications, Modelling and Simulation]

Session 2:
        Modern Lab Detectives [DNA, Isotopes & Other Investigations]

Session 3:
        Location! Location! Location! [GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and
        GPS (Global Positioning Systems)]

Session 4:
        Habitat Assessment & Improvement Techniques

Session 5:
        Sound Ways of Monitoring:  Telemetry and Other Acoustic Technologies

Session 6:
        BioMonitoring

Keynote Speaker is Dr. David Schindler, noted University of Alberta
Killiam professor and biologist. Greg Marshall, of National Geographic
Televison and CRITTERCAM inventor, will entertain us as banquet speaker,

Two Field Trips are planned. The first, on Sunday Sept. 28, is an
afternoon rafting excursion down the North Saskatchewan River, which winds
its way through Edmonton.

Following the conference will be a full-day field trip to Elk Island
National Park (home to buffalo), and on the Beaverhill Lake, a popular
bird observatory.

The CSEB97 Trade Show offer business and corporate sectors the opportunity
to demonstrate their specialties to those attending the Conference.
