Greetings,
I have been given a promo sheet on a formaldehyde substitute
called "Normalin." It is described as, "an isotonic histological
fixative...as a substitute for formalin." Also, iIt is apparently not
considered "hazardous waste." Has any one used this for
preservation of samples (I am specifically interested in egg and
larval preservation in conjunction with stains such as Eosin-B).
Please reply directly to me. I'll post a synopsis if there is sufficient
response.
Thanks,
