To all F-E Subscribers,

I am looking for any information of a scientific nature regarding aspects of
the inter-relationship between smallmouth bass and rock bass. Particularly,
I would be most appreciative of information regarding predation of young by
adults of the other species (either rock bass consuming the young of
smallmouths or vice versa). Any research underway or completed in the past
that would shed some light on differences/similarities in food items,
feeding patterns, competition for spawning sites or any other aspects of how
these two fish relate to one another.

I am wishing to respond to some newspaper articles which I believe to be
based upon false information. Any contacts or info sources would be greatly
appreciated. Thankyou.
