Dear List,

I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable break. I am currently faced with
having to use fish tissues stored in formalin for a genetic study. My
question -: Is anybody aware of any protocols to allow the PCR of around 400
base pairs from fish tissues stored in formalin,

Thanks in advance,

DEAN JERRY

If we possessed a thorough knowledge of all parts of the seed of any
animal, we could from that alone, by reasons entirely mathematical and
certain, deduce the whole conformation and figure of each of its members,
and, conversely if we knew several peculiarities of this conformation, we
would from those deduce the nature of its seed.
