Short Course Instructors Solicited
The Second International Congress on the Biology of Fishes will be held July 26-30, 1998 at Towson University of Maryland, Baltimore USA. This meeting is organized by the Physiology Section of the American Fisheries Society and traditionally has had short courses on various aspects of fish biology and fisheries on the Sunday preceding the symposia. Examples of past courses are: PCR techniques for fish biologists; fish surgical techniques; science writing techniques; experimental design etc. If you have any interest in offering a one-day course in some technique or skill to your fellow fish biologists at this venue, please contact either the program chair:
