Happy New Year to all!
Can anyone could help with the following? (apologies for cross-postings)
The following excerpt from a USA newsclip (I'm not sure which paper it comes from) dated January 6, 1998 is circulating on a sea-turtle discussion group I'm subscribed to:
>The scientists said coastal development has consumed precious salt >marshes, industrial pollution has left "dead zones" in the Gulf of >Mexico, agricultural runoff is causing new diseases in fish, and global >warming has contributed to steep declines of salmon in the North >Pacific.
Can anyone on the list give examples (with references if possible) of fish diseases caused by runoff, agricultural or otherwise?
Thanks in advance,
