Webmasters of fishy WWW sites:
I am currently checking all of the Web links on Gadus Associates' list of
links to fisheries-related sites and updating those that have changed since
they were first added. (Some have been on the list for upwards of 18 months.)
Several of the smaller seafood companies that were listed on the "fishing
industry" page (http://home.istar.ca/~gadus/private.html) have disappeared
from their old URLs and I have cut them from the list. Also, many more marine
environmental organizations have disappeared from the Web. Those are still on
the relevant page of the Gadus list (http://home.istar.ca/~gadus/environ.html)
for now but they are marked as being out of service.
If anyone who works with or for one of the deleted companies or one of the
marked organizations contacts me (directly please -- NOT by automatic reply to
the List!) and gives me the new URL for their Web site, I would be happy to
add or correct the link.
Of course, if anyone has a site, relating to marine commercial fisheries, that
is not yet listed, I would welcome a note with the URL.
