I am currently researching the behavior ecology of the wide-eyed flounder,
Bothus podas of the Azores (Bothidae, Pleuronectiformes). I have been
reviewing the published literature, which is basically non existent, and
would appreciate any observational information, gray literature or other
sources of information on this flatfish, especially regarding habitat,
feeding, reproduction and social behavior (where they lay eggs, mate choice
and male mating sucess), or any other aspects of habitat and life cycle.
