Hello everybody,
Maybe someone has gained some experience in this and can help me out:
How can I mark tiny salmon fry (around 30-40 mm long or even smaller)
for a flume experiment?
I observe a small number (1-6) of these small fish by eye from the side
at ranges up to 1 metre and sometimes reduced visibility by water
coloration. Experiments last around a week and the fish are wild caught.
The marking should permit me to identify the individual during my
observations. (and ideally there are no side-effects for the health and
behaviour of the fish...)
excuse cross-posting
and thanks a lot in advance for all suggestions, hints and links!
