Dear list members,
I am looking for a handbook/textbook dealing with the basics of fishery
science, especially stock assessment and population dynamics.
I mean something which not only reports formulae and equations (I know many
of them), but which also EXPLAINS them in detail leading the reader to
understand what each parameter or variable in an equation means - e.g. the
real meaning of instantaneous mortality rate, condition factor, K and t0 in
the VBGF, and so on.
In a few words, something planned for people who is not very familiar with
maths.
Thank you very much in advance.
