Could anyone provide me with information about Waclaw von Brun who wrote
"Die Wirtschaftsorganisation der Maori auf Neeseeland"? The book was
published in Leipzig in 1912 and is quoted by Firth a couple of times
in his "Economics of the Maori" opus.
Who was von Brun? Has the book ever been translated (I'm thinking of
doing it if nobody has)?
BTW, would anyone in Germany (Austria, Holland, Switzerland) be
interested in swapping photocopies? I live in Auckland and would
willingly photocopy material they want and send it to people in Europe
who could track down stuff for me and do likewise. Just a proposal but
it seems to make sense.
