A brief reminder for the tagging people.
Star-Oddi is today manufacturing two types of Data Storage Tags, DST 200
and DST 300. These tags are the smallest available data storage tags on the
market today and have been used in applications like tagging fish, turtles,
birds and crabs, and also for monitoring devices in different environments.
The tags can measure environmental parameters, like temperature, pressure
(depth) and salinity, and the tilt angle of the animal.
For your assistant is a biologist working at Star-Oddi. His role is to
gather information and experience from tagging expeditions, building an
expertise within Star-Oddi and to make the know-how available for our
customers, that is, to help:
new users to start their tagging expeditions and share the information and
expertise/experience gathered in order to save valuable time and money for
the user.
to support our regular customers, inform them of new technique and
information. It is also important that Star-Oddi learns from our consumers,
their experience and know-how, in order to improve our products and service
to the customer.
The above expertise is available to you, all you have to do is contact
Star-Oddi for advise and help to get started with the tagging. The
