Jeff:
I recommend SMITH-ROOT for two reasons:
1. I used Smith-Root Model 12 battery powered backpack units extensively
for two years. The only problems we had with them was, two of them burned
up in one of our vehicles. (Just keep them away from suburban's.)
2. I won a Gerber Multi-Tool at the Smith-Root AFS trade show booth at the
National AFS meeting last summer in Hartford CT. So this is another way of
saying thank you Dave Smith!
